Enjoying what we do

We love the arts. This is evident in the work we do and the activities we get involved with. So, we decided we wanted to make sure that arts and cultural activities were as accessible as possible to our whole team.

All team members have access to:

  • A monthly arts and culture budget – for tickets to galleries, exhibitions, concerts, theatre productions, etc.
  • A pot of tickets – provided by our partners across the UK (including London Philharmonic Orchestra, VIP tickets with National Theatre of Scotland, Royal Exchange Theatre and many more).

Expanding our horizons

Our philosophy is to be ‘always learning’. And, this goes beyond our work. So, the other strand of our Culture Club is a monthly book allowance.

This gives our team a budget to buy books on any topic that interests them – the only catch is we ask for them to bring them in once they’ve finished so that others can enjoy them too. We’ve got quite the book library already available, ranging from UX excellence to mindfulness to leadership – great for bookworms and reading newbies alike.

Getting involved and giving back

We want our people to explore new topics and meet new people. As well as having budgets to attend conferences and various learning events, we offer all staff the opportunity to take a day out of the office and volunteer with TEDx events for their major annual events. We believe in their philosophy of “ideas worth doing” and year-on-year our team return energised and inspired.

This also stretches to other volunteering opportunities, where we feel we can make a difference.
