Oh how time flies, we can hardly believe we’re already four months into 2016 not to mention almost a year since we were shortlisted for a Scottish Design Award. With 2015 being our most successful year to date, we are absolutely over the moon to be shortlisted for another Scottish Design Award alongside fellow Glasgow agencies, Made Brave and Front Page Agency.
Last year we made the shortlist for not one but two of our client projects, People Make Glasgow and Benromach (receiving a special commendation for our work with Benromach) and this year we’re shortlisted in the ‘Website Design’ category for our work with London’s Almeida Theatre.
Now in it’s 19th year, the exclusive Scottish Design Award recognises the best design and architecture in the country and we’re delighted to feature alongside some amazing Scottish businesses for our work on the Almeida Theatre website (check it out here).
With an international reputation in the arts, our design team created an impressive, image-led, responsive website to enhance overall user experience and engagement with the theatre itself. Launched back in 2015, the website has seen improvements across the board with a 22% increase in new visitors, 119% increase in engagement and 41% increase in session duration.
Huge congrats to everyone shortlisted in this year’s Scottish Design Awards & good luck to all!
Meanwhile... Downtown in Manchester
After branching into Manchester over a year ago now we are delighted to have bagged ourselves a few of the city’s prestigious awards. Our Cat scooped both the Chief Exec’s Award at Manchester’s Women in Business Awards and ‘Digital Personality of the Year Award’ from Downtown in Business and yesterday we found out our team has been shortlisted for ‘Digital and Creative Agency at the City of Manchester Business Awards (COMBA).
Having built strong relationships with thought leaders, industry professionals and like-minded companies in Manchester over the last year we are delighted to be recognised alongside five of Manchester’s best agencies.
But every vote counts and we need your help. If you have a spare five minutes we’d love you to vote for us here.
Keep your eyes peeled for updates and we’ll let you know how we get on!
