After Digital continues its relationship with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) launching the dynamic new mobile site.
The SSSC has trusted us with all things digital since 2009, having launched its main website and then returning to the agency in 2012 to develop its mobile platform.
With aims to raise the standards of social services, the SSSC is Scotland’s registry and regulatory body. It oversees more than 198,000 social service workers throughout Scotland, a figure it predicts to add over 50,000 more to in the next five years. With a growing number and variety of stakeholders the organisation recognised the need to offer its online services to its users on the go.
After Digital has developed the new SSSC mobile site, translating much of the functionality from the desktop site onto the mobile platform, including the search register, the ability to view events, and the vast document library. The site incorporates all the original website’s core components in a simplified and easy to navigate format.
Following best practice in mobile development, the new site features large font and buttons, a clear search facility, bold menu items and intuitive navigation. Implementing responsive design the site is accessible across platforms, ensuring an optimal user experience and a robust long-term solution.
Business Development Director at After Digital, said; "After Digital is happy to continue its work with SSSC. The new mobile site offers an optimal user experience for the organisation's members, meaning vital resources are easily accessible at all times and maintaining SSSC's dedication to continuously improving the standards of social services throughout Scotland."
