Vango returns to After Digital to update its online shopping experience and integrate Shopatron technology with the existing design.

Vango is a camping specialist based in the West of Scotland whose 40-year heritage has established the brand with a reputation for quality products that are essential for outdoor use.

After Digital has been working with outdoors brand Vango, and parent company AMG Group, since 2009. Following a successful first year for the website, After Digital refreshed the web design to include more prominent social media integration, a restructured homepage, redesigned product flypages, and a new interactive banner design. The introduction of a product megamenu allows for quicker direct access to product ranges and enhances the user experience. In addition, the site's original ecommerce solution has been fully upgraded to improve transactions, by integrating Shopatron functionality into the existing design. In correlation with this development, the After Digital team has created ecommerce and VIP dedicated areas on the website to streamline this shift towards an active online retail space.

This Shopatron technology will allow Vango to distribute online sales through its existing physical retailers, thus maintaining fruitful working relationships and creating a sustainable selling system. Additional benefits include the ability to bulk upload new/updated products, ultimately improving the overall management of its online product portfolio.

As Vango extends its range and expands into international markets its website needs to support its aspirations to function on a more global scale. Consequently, After Digital has also introduced the ability to translate site content into a number of languages by integrating the Google Translate tool.
