In a strategic move to support the continued growth and innovative output of the full service digital agency, After Digital has taken on three new talented staff members.

After Digital has undertaken a major restructuring of their business, after undergoing a recruitment drive to create two new senior positions and bring on board a new digital marketing manager.

The Glasgow and London digital agency has developed positions for a new ‘Creative Director’ and ‘Head of Digital Strategy’ to oversee the design and digital marketing units of their business, following a number of large contract wins.

With over 16 years industry experience, Vivienne MacLaren joins the After Digital team from Storm ID, where she held the position of ‘Digital Marketing Director’, heading up a team of 10 staff.  Vivienne was responsible for a number of high-profile clients at Storm ID including M&S Energy, Scottish & Southern Energy and Holiday Inn Express.

Her role within After Digital will involve leading and growing the digital marketing team and the services on offer, implementing effective digital strategies and ensuring clients get the best possible return on investment from their digital campaigns.

The second newly created post of Creative Director has been filled by Scott Gilmour, who makes the move to After Digital after spending five years at 999 Design where he was Senior Digital Designer. During his time at the agency, Scott was in-charge of an impressive portfolio of projects which included Kings College London, Victoria Beckham and The Guardian.

Holding more than eight years of industry experience, Scott will preside over After Digital’s entire creative output, ensuring designers and developers are working in tandem to deliver innovative digital solutions that deliver above and beyond for clients.

The third member of staff to come on board is Digital Marketing Manager, Jennifer Rogerson. Formerly an Affiliate Marketing Manager at Equator, Jennifer’s first break into the sector was a two month internship at After Digital in 2010, who she has kept in contact with ever since.

Her key responsibilities will be pitching and presenting digital marketing services to clients and managing digital marketing campaigns, helping to support and grow the UK-wide full service digital agency.

The recruitment drive follows a period of internal restructuring within the business, which is shifting its focus towards bigger and more innovative projects. Recent wins for the agency include six figure deals for Wigmore Hall and London Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as comprehensive digital strategy work with the National Centre for Universities & Businesses (NCUB).

Managing Director of After Digital said: “The three new recruits come off the back of an extremely successful period for the digital agency, with a lot of internal restructuring ultimately linked to our plans for expansion over the next financial year.

“We’ve recently won a large number of extremely big projects and the new posts will help us to oversee the work we are carrying out while still being able to win new business and grow.

“Ultimately, as an agency, we are driven by the desire to complete large scale, innovative digital projects for an internationally recognised roster of clients and with the internal changes made in recent months; the business has continued to thrive. We recently appointed former SPL chief Roger Mitchell as a Non-Executive Director and created the post of ‘Head of Innovation’ so it’s clear our focus has been internal for the last quarter.
