After Digital is excited to begin work with another prestigious London-based client, the recently rebranded National Centre for Universities & Businesses (NCUB).

Formerly known as the CIHE, NCUB is a strategic leadership network comprising of a number of blue-chip companies working with vice chancellors and universities to develop the UK’s knowledge-based economy. Formed in 1986, the organisation aims to bring businesses, governments and universities from across Britain closer together to enhance the quality of the education system, UK graduates and research.

Following a decision to re-brand the CIHE to NCUB and develop a new business strategy, which included significant growth of its online reach, the organisation selected After Digital to modernise its web presence and create a bold new website.

Joe Marshall, Project Manager at NCUB, said; After Digital were approached as they have done some interesting and innovative work with some of the universities who are our members.  The key for us with the website is to move beyond just a standard word press environment.  The website needs to reflect our brand and values as a new organisation seeking to bring universities and businesses closer together.  It is about the collaboration, the conversations, and the connections that are possible.  The website will be interactive, not in a flash techie way, but as a site that people can and want to engage with.  It should be about where people can find out more, but also where they can contribute and add to the debate and discussion.”

The new site is currently under development and will help position the NCUB as a centre of information and resources, around which an active online community will be formed.

Joe continued; The team so far has been excellent.  From initial enquiry through to scoping, design and project management there is a real sense of experience and expertise.  The whole team has been great (especially when you all came into our tiny office!).  We are looking forward to the innovative After Digital Exchange element and getting that real time input to make sure we get the site that really represents where we want to take the new organisation.”

After Digital looks forward to launching this dynamic new website, adding to our portfolio of work with distinguished business and education clients, and supporting the NCUB in its mission to boost the UK’s educational and economical competitiveness.
