Here at After Digital we believe in staying on the cutting edge of the latest technology and digital advances. As such, making sure our staff are up-to-date, engaged and passionate about what they do is critical. To ensure this remains the case we encourage our team to participate in relevant events (such as Coder Dojo), expand their professional ability with training courses and exams (i.e. Google AdWords Qualifications), and attend industry-leading conferences.

We’re only in mid November and this month our team has already been along to the Tessitura 2012 UK Conference in Stratford-upon-Avon and our Senior Designer is currently in Belfast at the prestigious Build 2012 Conference.

The Tessitura Network consists of over 400 prolific arts and cultural organisations from around the world, who all implement Tessitura technology to optimise online performance and administration. Offering a variety of top-of-the-range products and services, Tessitura continuously looks to develop its solutions in line with the needs of its member organisations.

After Digital is one of a select few official Tessitura web capable digital agencies in the UK, having worked to integrate the Tessitura ticketing system for multiple clients over the years. Our ticketing solutions and Tessitura integration projects have proven so successful and robust that we continue to work closely with the Tessitura team and were invited along to the conference.

Held at the prestigious Royal Shakespeare Company Theatre, the Tessitura 2012 UK Conference consisted of a range of idea sessions, presentations, workshops and networking events for arts organisations and Tessitura network members. Our Business Development Director, David Johnstone, and Systems Architect, Graeme Pratt, went along to represent After Digital and find out all the latest on the future of Tessitura ticketing technology.

David Johnstone said; “Tessitura work very hard to build and engage with their community and we’re happy to be part of that. The Tessitura Conference showcases all the latest developments with the Tessitura ticketing system and other products that we are actively engaged with integrating for our clients. It was a fantastic couple of days and we met some very interesting individuals and organisations, who are doing innovative work despite being faced with increased restrictions on their resources.”

Graeme Pratt said; “After Digital is dedicated to developing tailored Tessitura ticketing solutions for our customers, this is exemplified by the creation and ongoing development of our Tessitura Bridge™ product. It was great to get along to this years conference and share best practice in Tessitura development and I look forward to seeing what we will achieve in the next 12 months with this technology.”

The second conference After Digital is attending this month is Build. Build is a unique web design festival, looking to bring together the brightest and best from the sector to share knowledge, ideas, skills and a few beers. The week-long event will comprise of film presentations, workshops, practical exercises, key note speakers and social events. Hosted at a number of exciting venues across Belfast, our Senior Designer, Aidan Martin, will be there all week (Monday 12th November until Friday 16th).

Before jetting off to Northern Ireland, Aidan said; “I'm looking forward to mingling with some of the best creatives at this year's Build Conference, which looks set to be an interesting week of events. Attending festivals and other industry conferences like Build are a great way for us to remain innovative and forward-thinking, and I’m excited to come back with some new ideas and experiences under my belt.”
