It's that time of year again when the mo-bros of the world unite and spend the month of November doing their darndest to grow the most impressive tache they can. But its not all in the name of macho competition.
Movember is a global initiative looking to raise awareness of key men's health issues, particularly prostate and testicular cancer, and encouraging people to sponsor those growing moustaches, which is then donated to men's health partners, such as Prostate Cancer UK and the Institute of Cancer Research.
After Digital firmly believes in supporting charitable causes and giving back to the community. As such, the agency has an annual commitment to pro bono work and regularly donates to charities throughout the UK. For several years running our boys have taken part in Movember, growing some pretty impressive upper-lip-warming hair and participating in local fundraising activities. Last year one of our team took part in the 5km Glasgow Green MoRunning event and After Digital provided sponsorship for his whole running team.
A few of our boys are taking part in Movember again this year, with the support of the whole office, in the hope of beating last year's donation efforts. At the end of the month we will crown the one with the most impressive moustache After Digital Mo-King.
