After Digital applies its experience to help demystify mobile web and m-commerce at the 2012 Glasgow for Business Week.

In an informative session at this year's Glasgow for Business Week, our Senior Designer Aidan Martin and client Lesley Ann Cardow, Marketing Manager at Somerston Hotels, will join Rakesh Davda and Alan Stevenson to discuss best practice in online marketing and the challenges arising from the rapidly expanding mobile web.

The ubiquitous use of mobile technology and infiltration of mobile browsing into every day life means that no business can afford to turn a blind eye to mobile marketing completely. While the approach and digital strategy will vary for each organisation, all marketers must be aware of how these shifts in consumer behaviour and the use of the Internet will effect their overall business objectives

The session looks to help Glasgow businesses grasp the reins on how to best adapt to the evolving digital landscape and respond to consumer trends, and will be structured as below:

11:30 - 11:50

Rakesh Davda will open the session by providing an overview of the background, opportunities and key considerations for businesses in the mobile arena.

11:50 – 12:10

Our Senior Designer Aidan Martin will then go on to discuss how design and development have progressed over the years, lessons learned, best practices & the After Digital process and approach to projects.

12:10 – 12:20

Next our client Lesley Ann Cardow, Marketing Manager at Somerston Hotels, will present the business case for Somerston Hotels - the process, the results and lessons learned from going mobile.

12:20 – 12:45

Finally, the session will round of with a Q&A panel led by Alan Stevenson.
