You may have noticed that we're BIG advocates of diversity and equal opportunities here at After Digital. In fact, this year alone we've partnered up with the fabulous The Icon Awards (more on this here) celebrating the LGBTI community, our Head of Strategy has spoken at one Women in Tech festival in Dundee and she's organised another event on the same topic in Apple, Glasgow with our friends at TEDxGlasgow.
So, it's only natural that we're continuing to bang the diversity drum and are sponsoring the 'Female Leader Award' at Downtown in Business Manchester's annual Women In Business Awards.
"Diversity is a matter very close to my, and the other directors', hearts. We pride ourselves on our open and inclusive company culture, but are always looking for ways to outwardly support the move toward a more equal and progressive business sector too. As such, we are honoured to be supporting such a positive and far-reaching event as the Women in Business Awards 2015. The shortlist is made up of an awe-inspiring collective of business leaders and I'm delighted that my team will be able to enjoy this event with them. Good luck to everyone involved and look forward to seeing you there!"

Our team will be there, along with some partners, clients and friends, donned in their finest cocktail dresses and lounge suits - make sure you say hello if you see them.
The nominees for the 'Female Leader' award are:
- Mumtaz Bashir, Woman International Collaborate Company Ltd

- Sandra Hill, Michael Page
- Kim Kaewkraikhot, Chaophraya
- Linda Shillaw, Manchester Airport Group

A big thank you to Downtown in Business for organising the event and continuing to bring the business community of Manchester (and beyond) together.
Best of luck to all those nominated in this category and across all the other awards - we're looking forward to seeing you all on Friday and raising a glass to some truly inspirational women in business.
