Meet Chris, our new Junior UX Designer!
We’re happy to welcome Chris to the AD team as our new Junior UX Designer! Chris has a background in the arts and culture industry, along with experience in web development. We had a Q&A session with him so that you can get to know our latest team member a little better.
What attracted you to After Digital?
Initially it was the work in the Arts & Culture sector, but during the interview process, it was how welcoming and close-knit the team felt.
Tell us a bit about what you did before joining After Digital.
I recently graduated from University of Dundee in Digital Interaction Design, before getting a job as a designer at a startup in Edinburgh. As I learnt more about UI and front-end development, I began designing and building websites myself before joining AD.
What do you bring to the team?
I think I have a strong design foundation with a good understanding of web development.
What do you do in your spare time?
I treated myself to a pizza oven during lockdown and learnt how to make some pretty tasty pies!
What’s your favourite thing about what you do?
It's always nice being the fresh pair of eyes on projects, learning about new clients and testing websites.
Are you a starter/main course or main course/ dessert type of person?
Starter and main all the way – I would much rather double savoury.
What is the most interesting (be that cool, random or otherwise!) thing that’s ever happened to you?
I once appeared in a Newsround segment about a climbing wall being put up at my primary school—must have been a slow news day!
What's your favourite quote?

If you could watch only one TV show/ film for the rest of your life what would it be?
Succession. I’m watching it from the start right now before I watch the latest series!
You’re stranded on an island, what are the three things you would take with you?
Phone, wallet, keys?
Which celeb would play you in a movie?
I’m stuck on this one. Keeping with the Succession theme – Nicholas Braun?
