In 2013, Diet Chef came to After Digital looking for the perfect strategic digital partner to support the top weight-loss company in bolstering the reach of its brand in the online space, thus expanding its customer base. After Digital’s digital strategists and marketers worked closely with the Diet Chef team to realise, implement and manage a series of creative campaigns, including social, online display advertising, artwork and an affiliate marketing strategy.
For the initial campaign, After Digital underwent a series of brainstorming workshops with key stakeholders from Diet Chef, evaluating business objectives and available offers. The team then went on to conduct keyword and marketplace research, identifying opportunities for Diet Chef to take a bite out of their marketplace.
After Digital proposed a promotional display advertising and retargeting campaign, utilising a network that had proven to deliver conversions at low CPA's for similar projects. After Digital's marketing and design team worked together to create a bold ad suite showcasing a discounted offer on Diet Chef's core product, targeted at Diet Chef's key audiences and websites which they regularly frequented. The campaign was then implemented across the network complete with click tags and tracking code.
The initial display campaign exceeded original objectives, reducing CPA by 383% and exceeding the sales target by over 10%. Diet Chef continued to work with After Digital on a number of other successful campaigns that produced cost savings across their marketing mix and increased online revenues.
